Committee on Economy, Finance and Budget holds its 18th Meeting

At today’s 18th Meeting, the Committee on Economy, Finance and Budget has considered and decided to propose to the Parliament to adopt the following: Proposal for the Law on the National Brand; Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on State Surveying and Cadastre of Immovable Property; and Proposal for the Law on Supplements to the on Administrative Fees, the last of which was submitted by a group of MPs and position of the representatives of the Government on this proposal was not stated at the Committee meeting.

The Committee also supported the following: eighth amendments submitted by MP Mr Nikola Rakočević, and representative of the proposer for the law agreed on this; amendment to the Proposal for the Law on Fees for the Use of Tobacco Products and Electro-Acoustic and Acoustic Devices in restaurants and cafés, submitted by MPs Ms Jovanka Laličić and Ms Marta Šćepanović, and representative of the proposer for the law agreed on this; while the position of the representatives of the proposer for the law about the amendment by MP Mr Genci Nimanbegu to the said proposal for the law was not stated, due to his inability to attend the meeting of the Committee.

In addition, the Committee decided to propose to the parliament a conclusion for adoting the 2016 Performance Report of the Agency for Electronic Communications and Postal Services with Financial Report of the Agency, and Report on Conducted Audit of 2016 Financial Statements of the Agency;

In line with the Law on Electronic Communications and public call for the appointment of two members of the Council of the Agency for Electronic Communications and Postal Services, the Committee decided to propose candidates Mr Šefkija Murić and Mr Zoran Sekulić as members of the Council of the Agency.
