Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) has accepted the invitation by President of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr Ivan Brajović to send a delegation that will observe the upcoming presidential election that are to be held on 15 April 2018.

The letter sent to President Brajović by PACE President Mr Michele Nicoletti states that the Assembly would set up ad hoc cross-party committee composed of 14 members belonging to all political groups of the PA.

Mr Nicoletti expressed expectation that authorities of Montenegro would assist members of the Delegation in the preparation of their observation mission.

To remind, apart from the PACE, President Brajović has sent an invitation for observation of the presidential election to the ODIHR, the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly and the European Parliament.
