Delegation of the Parliament of Montenegro to participate in the Interparliamentary Conference in Brussels

MPs Mr Miloš Nikolić, member of the Committee on Political System, Judiciary and Administration, and Mr Adrijan Vuksanović, Chairperson of the Committee on European Integration, will participate in the Interparliamentary Conference titled: “Local and regional authorities in the EU enlargement region and the EU regional policy”, which is being held from 30 to 31 January 2017 in Brussels. 

The Conference is organised by the European Parliament as part of the support programme for the parliaments of the enlargement countries in 2016. At the gathering, the discussion will cover policy pursuits and implementation of the EU acquis from the perspective of local and regional authorities as well as the strengthening of their roles in the EU enlargement process. In addition, there will be discussion on assessment of the EU regional policy 2014-2020, as well as the macro-regional strategy of the EU Cohesion Policy.

In addition to the MEPs, the gathering will also be attended by members of the parliaments of the enlargement countries.
