Mr Tonino Picula, member of the Committee on Regional Development of the European Parliament talked about the history of the EU regional policy and future steps which should be undertaken in order to achieve stronger connectivity.
The participants had the opportunity to learn about the EU Regional Policy 2014-2020 and its connection with the IPA II. With regard to this topic, the address was given by Mr Franc Bogovič, member of the Committee on Regional Development.
Within the third session they discussed the EU strategy for Adriatic-Ionian region, which was covered by Mr Ivan Jakovčić, member of the Committee on Regional Development of the European Parliament.
In addition to the MEPs, the gathering was also attended by members of the parliaments of the enlargement countries.
Delegation of the Parliament of Montenegro consisted of MPs Mr Miloš Nikolić, member of the Committee on Political System, Judiciary and Administration, and Mr Adrijan Vuksanović, Chairperson of the Committee on European Integration.
