The aim of the meeting is to build institutional capacity by enhancing the exchange of expertise in improving social support for ending violence against children through cross-sectoral action and further development of the foundations for shared experience and ongoing cooperation across the region.      

In line with WHO's Europe “Health 2020” Strategy highlighting the importance of cross-sectoral work, the WHO Regional Office for Europe and the Ministry of Social Affairs of Estonia will host a two-day sub-regional workshop where international experts from different sectors will hold contemporary lectures, conduct small group discussions and present best practice studies in the country, unpacking the details of INSPIRE on evidence-based interventions to prevent violence against children. Best practices from other European countries will be presented, including the "Pathfinding" countries.  Stakeholders from different sectors involved in the prevention of violence against children, parliamentarians, national technical contact points and representatives of civil society organisations (CSOs) from all the Nordic, Baltic countries, as well as Armenia, Georgia, Montenegro and Romania will be involved.

The delegation of the Parliament of Montenegro will be represented by the Chairperson of the Committee on Health, LaboUr and Social Welfare Mr Suad Numanovic, Chairperson of the Committee on Human Rights and Freedoms Mr Halil Duković and the Mr Nikola Divanović, MP.
