Two groups of students of the “Vladika Danilo” primary school visited the Parliament of Montenegro today.
During the visit they had the opportunity to learn about the responsibilities and functions of the Parliament, as well as about its organisation and structure. The students were also interested in the details from the history of Montenegrin parliamentarism and activities of the members of the 26th Parliament.
On that occasion, they visited the Plenary Hall and rooms in which the parliamentary activities take place, and the art collection and collection of coats of arms, including a set of documents from the parliamentary archive, were also presented to them.
The visit was organised within the programme “Open Parliament”, which is aimed at increasing the degree of transparency and openness of work of the Parliament of Montenegro and at creating closer ties with the citizens, especially the young.
