A group of youth activists of the CSO “New Horizon” from Ulcinj has visited the Parliament of Montenegro today.
The visitors, whose tour of the Parliament was organised within the Open Parliament project, were mostly interested in history, organisation and the manner of operation of the Parliament of Montenegro.
Youth activists also learned about the details of the TV broadcasting of the parliamentary sittings, the seating arrangements in the Plenary Hall, and the parliamentary building’s accessibility for persons with disabilities.
Following the usual tour of the building, representatives of the NGO from Ulcinj talked with Vice President of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr Genci Nimanbegu, and MPs Luigj Shkrela and Mr Boris Mugoša.
During their meeting with the Vice President and MPs, youth activists of “New Horizon” NGO learned that, if they were to chose politics as their future profession, they should be aware and know that it requires a lot of work, as it is a profession implying great responsibility, both individual and of those whom they represent.
The Open Parliament project of the Parliament of Montenegro is implemented in order to provide interested citizens with a direct insight into the manner of functioning and operating of the Montenegrin Parliament, with a special focus on its contribution to youth education.
