Vice President of the Parliament of Montengro Mr Genci Nimanbegu today met French Senator Ms Helene Conway-Mouret. On this occasion, they discussed the cooperation of the parliamentary friendship group with the French Senate and National Assembly. Also, they talked about cooperation of Montenegro and France in the light of Euro-Atlantic integration.
Vice President Nimanbegu expressed his interest in Montenegro’s opportunities to become a member of the Union of the Francophone countries, which would be very significant for the further progress of Montenegro.
During the meeting, they also talked about spatial planning. Vice President Nimanbegu stressed that, unfortunately, the system of spatial planning had been centralised for a long period of time. The interlocutors, also, agreed that in was necessary to improve the cooperation in the field of tourism.
