Today in Podgorica, Vice President of the Parliament of Montenegro Branimir Gvozdenović has met non-resident Ambassador of Mexico to Montenegro H. E. Marco Antonio García Blanco.
The meeting was organised with the aim of initiating further political and economic cooperation between Montenegro and Mexico, and in that sense, Vice President Gvozdenović initiated the establishment of the friendship group between the Parliament of Montenegro and the Mexican Congress, therefore the first steps will be taken already next week.
Vice President Gvozdenović emphasised the importance of cooperation in the field of tourism, given the tourist potentials of both countries.
Welcoming the progress in bilateral cooperation between the two countries, H.E Mr. García Blanco has emphasised the importance of signing three bilateral agreements over the past year, which will be an additional basis for enhancing cooperation. Also, the Ambassador pointed to the importance of cooperation between the chambers of commerce of the two countries, as well as the agencies for the promotion of foreign investments.
In addition, the topics of the meeting were the improvement of the trade exchange between the two countries, as well as the consideration of possibilities for scholarships for Montenegrin students and cooperation in the field of culture and education.
