The Montenegro - Serbia parliamentary Friendship Group, headed by Vice President Mr Branimir Gvozdenović, held a meeting with the Serbia - Montenegro parliamentary Friendship Group, headed by Mr Igor Bečić.
The meeting discussed concreate possibilities for improving the cooperation aimed at linking and exchanging high quality ideas and projects of mutual interest, therefore upon the proposal of Vice President of the Parliament Mr Branimir Gvozdenović, they agreed to work on the cooperation protocol of two friendship groups, as a fundamental framework for the development of parliamentary relations.
The interlocutors expressed their undoubted commitment to developing the best neighbourly relations and mutual openness to continue the good pace of the European integration process as a strategic foreign policy goal of both states. They jointly assessed that parliamentarians had huge potentials in creating and developing bilateral relation and tracing path to all forms of interstate cooperation.
In addition to the Chair of Montenegro’s Friendship group, the meeting was attended by: Mr Andrija Nikolić, Mr Suad Numanović, Mr Bogdan Fatić, Mr Filip Vuković and Mr Radule Novović, as well as MPs Mr Andrija Mandić and Mr Milan Knežević.
Mr Igor Bečić was heading a delegation made up of members of the Serbia - Montenegro parliamentary Friendship Group: Mr Aleksandar Marković, Ms Jelena Žarić-Kovačević, Mr Zvonimir Đokić, Mr Dejan Radenković, Mr Dragomir Karić and Mr Ivan Kostić.
The delegation is paying a two-day official visit to Montenegro, upon the invitation by Vice President of the Parliament of Montenegro and Chair of the Montenegro - Serbia parliamentary Friendship Group Mr Branimir Gvozdenović.
