- As representatives of the national community, we expressed our support at the meeting to the process and we will support it by voting in the Parliament of Montenegro. The legitimacy of the majority in the Parliament is unquestionable and I would invite the part of the opposition that supports the integration to be responsible and to do so, because what makes us historically responsible is the fact that by this process we are joining the countries that are better than us, Vice President of the Parliament of up Mr Genci Nimanbegu said and pointed out that it is almost certain that the process would end in the spring of this year.

The meeting particularly stressed the need for affirming unquestionable argument that the Alliance is a guarantee of high degree of respecting human rights and freedoms, and constant strengthening of the rule of law. As it was announced, joint activities will be carried out on presenting the benefits of NATO membership, which are related to the military and defence, as well as the assistance in emergency situations, protection of the sea and the like.

- We have agreed on intensifying cooperation, quality and efficient exchange of information and implementation of joint activities that are primarily related to informing all structures of the Montenegrin society about the benefits of membership of our country in NATO. We received a clear and unambiguous position of the representatives of minorities on the need for finalizing of this process in the Parliament, noting that the membership is good for the country and for all its citizens, National Coordinator for NATO Mr Dragan Pejanović said.

As the representatives of the minority parties said, belonging to the Alliance is a natural commitment particularly due to the fact that 90 percent of the Montenegrin diaspora lives in NATO member countries.
