- Good interstate relations of Montenegro and Hungary will be additionally improved by the establishment of direct flights between Podgorica and Budapest in April, because in that manner, we will be even closer to each other, Vice President of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr Branimir Gvozdenović an Ambassador of Hungary to Montenegro H.E. Krisztián Pósa emphasised during the meeting.
Vice President of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr Branimir Gvozdenović today has met the Hungarian Ambassador H.E. Krisztián Pósa.
The meeting assessed that the cooperation between Montenegro and Hungary was at a high level, primarily due to good economic relations, as well as strong support of Hungary to Euro-Atlantic and European integration of Montenegro.
Additional incentive for intensifying, primarily economies relations, will be the establishment of direct flights between Podgorica and Budapest in April, given the fact that the Hungarian low-cost airline Wizz Air from April will have flights on relation Podgorica - Budapest during the whole year. Vice President Gvozdenović thanked to Ambassador Pósa for his personal contribution to the establishment of direct flights.
Ambassador Pósa particularly emphasised the role of Vice President Gvozdenović regarding the development of Montenegrin tourism, emphasising that excellent bases and environment have been created for a significant entry of the Hungarian capital in the field of tourism, as well as for increasing the number of Hungarian tourists visiting Montenegro.
During the meeting, they agreed to intensify the cooperation between the two parliaments, and also initiated the idea of establishing Montenegro-Hungary parliamentary friendship group.
