The interlocutors exchanged opinions on the situation in Montenegro following the boycott of the work of the Parliament by the opposition parties. Vice President Nimanbegu said that the very voters of the opposition parties expected their voices to be heard in the Parliament.

- Good will should be found on both sides, in order to overcome the current situation. The boycott of the Parliament is unproductive, unnecessary, and the arguments behind it are useless. And I also see mediation by the EU as unnecessary, points out Ambassador Močnik.

With regard to the Euro-Atlantic integration, the interlocutors agreed that it was the right path leading to the well-being of all citizens of Montenegro. They voiced their expectation that the countries which were yet to ratify the NATO Accession Protocol for Montenegro would do so as soon as possible.

The Ambassador was interested in the progress regarding the process of implementation of the requests of Albanians, defined by the coalition agreement, and especially with regard to the electoral law, Municipality of Tuzi, Saltworks, Valdanos...

Vice President Nimanbegu informed Ambassador Močnik in detail about the development of that process. Furthermore, they also discussed the possibilities for better cooperation between the Slovenian and Montenegrin municipalities with regard to economy and tourism.
