President of the Parliament of Montenegro, Mr Ivan Brajović, will hold a joint meeting on Friday, 15 September, with representatives of non-governmental organisations involved in monitoring of the election process in Montenegro. The meeting will be attended by representatives of non-governmental organisations of CEDEM, CDT, CEMI, MANS and GA. One of the topics of the meeting tomorrow will be the initiative and consideration of the possibilities for even greater openness of the work of the Parliament and more significant involvement of the public through increased mutual informing and dialogue.

The meeting will be held on the 20^th anniversary of the adoption of the IPU's Universal Declaration on Democracy, as well as the 10^th anniversary of the United Nations General Assembly's decision to proclaim 15 September as the International Day of Democracy.
