"Nikšić is the largest municipality in Montenegro, which, in addition to water, land and economy resources, has what is most valuable - human resources. In the rich history of the town under Trebjesa, entrepreneurial people were the very initiators of cultural and economic development. Today at the beginning of the 3rd millennium, after a period of difficult transition, which was fatal especially for industrial cities, Nikšić has managed to consolidate itself in the financial and public sector. It is also encouraging that the economy and culture that once were the impetus of Montenegro's development are beginning to awaken, and I believe that Nikšić will take over once again the role of economic and cultural initiator of development in Montenegro in the decades to come.
