Congratulatory messages on the occasion of national holidays

President of the Parliament of Montenegro, Mr Ivan Brajović, congratulated upon national holidays to several European countries.

In the congratulatory message extended to Mr László Kövér, Speaker of the National Assembly of Hungary, the belief has been stated, inter alia, that the strategic partnership, based on friendly relations of the two states, would in the next period be additionally strengthened in all the fields of mutual concern.

In the congratulatory message extended to Mr Edgar Mayer, President of the Federal Council and Ms Doris Bures, President of the National Council, on the occasion of the national holiday of the Republic of Austria, President thanked, among other things, for the continuos support that the Republic of Austria has been providing to the aspirations of Montenegro towards the EU membership, and stressed his expectation that the European integration of the Western Balkan would be highly on the agenda of the forthcoming Austrian Presidency of the European Union during the second half of 2018.

In congratulatory messages extended to the President the Senate and the Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic, Mr Milan Štěch and Mr Jan Hamáček, on the occasion of the Independence Day, it has been stated that Montenegro and the Czech Republic have continuously developed friendly relations based on mutual trust and respect, and the readiness of the Parliament of Montenegro has been expressed for the provision of additional contribution in the next period for further strengthening of partnering cooperation between two states.

On the occasion of the Day of the Republic of Turkey, with best wishes for further progress and welfare of the country and its citizens, President of the Parliament of Montenegro, in his letter to Mr Ismail Kahraman, Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of the Republic of Turkey, expressed pleasure for excellent bilateral relations, which should be developed by intensifying the cooperation of the two legislative houses of the two countries.
