Congratulatory message by President of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr Ivan Brajović to the citizens and local leadership of Cetinje, on the occasion of 13 November - Day of the Old Royal Capital:

“For centuries, Cetinje has been an aura of Montenegrin being and existence, Montenegrin statehood, spirituality, and identity. Extraordinary geographic position of the Old Royal Capital, between the national parks Lovćen and Skadar Lake, on the coast of Adriatic and rocky seas, with priceless cultural and historical legacy, represents an economic and touristic challenge to domestic and foreign tourists and investors. By implementing the launched projects, investing in infrastructure, with quality cooperation of state and local administrations, I am convinced that better times, which its citizens deserve, await Cetinje, the symbol of Montenegrin existence and endurance.

In that name, I wish you a happy Day of the Old Royal Capital  – 13 November.“
