On the occasion of 22 November - Municipality Day of Budva, President of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr Ivan Brajović extended the following congratulatory message:

“In times when Montenegro will and must catch up with the pace of accelerated development with other developed countries on the planet - Budva represents a vital factor on the path towards that goal. Tourism capital of our country possesses human, economic, and tourism infrastructure that could be the envy of even more developed countries, but that does not mean that we can be lulled with what has been done and ignore what we have been tasked with, but that every day we should work on and persist in expanding the tourist offer, economic development, and better and more secure life for citizens of Budva. Bearing in mind what has been achieved, the reputation held by Budva, its surroundings and resources, at home and abroad, I am convinced that both Budva and Montenegro have a bright future.”
