Congratulatory message by President of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr Ivan Brajović to the citizens and local leadership of Bar, on the occasion of 24 November - Municipality Day of Bar:

"Jubilees come and go, but the multi-ethnic, and multi-confessional, and multi-cultural harmony of Bar, as a personification of harmonious and civic Montenegro, remains forever. Endless possibilities of tourist potential provided by the Adriatic sea, the Lake of Skadar, and the legends of the Old Town of Bar, are a guarantee of development of the town under Rumija. Economic capacities with the Port of Bar at the forefront, a very developed road infrastructure which will soon be crowned with a highway - will create an ideal economic ambience which will bring the town and its surroundings closer to the domestic and foreign businessmen and investors.  With a good host attitude towards the riches of Bar, fostering human and economic infrastructure, productive cooperation of local and state administration - I am convinced that the citizens of Bar would soon feel the benefits of their town and the time in which they live. In that name, I wish you a happy Municipality Day of Bar – 24 November“.
