President of the Parliament speaks with the Georgian Prime Minister

 

On day two of the bilateral visit to Georgia, President of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr Ivan Brajović met with Prime Minister of Georgia H.E. Giorgi Kvirikashvili.

During the talks, they jointly assessed that the two countries had friendly relations, and a lot of historical similarities as well as similar European and Euro-Atlantic goals. They noted that there was a lot of room for improving relations between our two countries, particularly in the field of economy.

President Brajović welcomed the wise and patient approach of Georgia regarding the problem of occupied territories. He expressed the belief that visa liberalization between our two countries would be an incentive to our relations at all levels.

Prime Minister of Georgia H.E. Giorgi Kvirikashvili said that Montenegro was an example of the country which, thanks to its consistent and clear policy, had managed to achieve one of its most important foreign policy goals - NATO membership, and also to make a significant step forward regarding its integration into the European Union.

During his two-day visit, President Brajović had meeting with Catholicons-Patriarch of all Georgia, His Holiness and Beatitude Ilia II, and visited Administrative Boundary Line (ABL) in Khurvaleti.
