President of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr Ivan Brajović congratulated the citizens of Danilovgrad and the local leadership Municipality Day of Danilovgrad marked on 9 December:

“Montenegro has always taken pride in and was recognised by its mountains and its sea, but it has also boasted its plains, including the Bjelopavići Plain, the pristine natural gem and fertile land that had fed the Bjelopavlići tribe, but also Montenegro, when evil was abundant and food was scarce. As a rich land bears rich men, thus the town on the Zeta river never lacked significant men of progressive and libertarian visions, whose creation and works are deeply woven into the history of Montenegro. Today, Danilovgrad is a town visited not only by men, but also by business entities, and with its agricultural and tourist opportunities it represents a safe base for development and valorisation of potential which is abundant in people and companies.
