President of the Parliament of Montenegro receives the Ambassador of the Polish Republic in a farewell visit

During the farewell reception of Polish Ambassador Ms Irena Tatarzynska by President of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr Ivan Brajović, they jointly stated that the relations between the two countries were excellent, and that further strengthening of economic relations should provide the special dynamics to the future development of cooperation.

President Brajović thanked the Ambassadors for her sincere engagement and contribution to the association of our countries and citizens. He particularly underlined his deep appreciation of the fact that the Ambassador has significantly contributed to presenting objective picture of Montenegro in the Republic of Poland.

Ambassador Tatarzynska conveyed the strong support of the Republic of Poland to the reform processes carried out by Montenegro and expressed the belief that Montenegro would become a member of the EU in the near future, bearing in mind the progress made so far.

The interlocutors agreed that the existence of friendship groups in the parliaments of both countries, as well as the participation of President Brajović at the Summit of the Parliaments of Central and Eastern European Parliaments in Warsaw, represented a good basis and a proof of readiness for further strengthening of cooperation between the two legislatures.
