President of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr Ivan Brajović congratulated Day of Capital City Podgorica - 19th December to citizens, Mayor of the Capital City Mr Slavoljub Stijepović, and President of the Local Assembly Mr Đorđe Suhih:

“On its European and Euro-Atlantic path Montenegro was creating a modern Podgorica, and Podgorica was also creating a modern Montenegro, both of which have become respectable partners to European and world countries and cities.  We have to continue that progressive trend in the future because our citizens require that from us and also Europe and the world.  The geographical and political predispositions of the capital, the fruitful cooperation of the local and state administration, the dynamic valorisation of broad economic potentials and investment spectrum, as well as the increasingly diverse tourist and cultural offer - make Podgorica be the city pleasant for living, creating and succeeding in all fields.
