President of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr Ivan Brajović has congratulated the 23rd January - Journalists' Day to the media workers of Montenegro, while tomorrow - on 23 January, at 11 a.m., he will host President and Vice President of the Media Trade Union of Montenegro Ms Marijana Camović and Mr Radomir Kračković.

Wording of the congratulatory message is as follows:

“At this decisive time of media temptations, maturation and unquestionable professional attitudes and actions which impose the same temptations to the overall Montenegrin society - particularly in this stage of the European integration - I believe that we all together should adhere to objective and impartial positions in all spheres of human and social activities.

In the digital era when information is equal to the moment - responsibility and good intention have a binding role in creating and informing the public, and even though the survival of the world does not depend on this, the overall system of the values does.  That is why I believe that Montenegrin journalism is aware and capable to continue bearing a difficult but noble burden of preserving a public word, a different opinion and a dialogue.
