Parliament of Montenegro and Association of Managers on future cooperation models

The Parliament of Montenegro has been a natural partner to the business community of Montenegro through cooperation in providing legislative frameworks that facilitate the development of business entities, strengthening the competitiveness of companies and the economic growth of the state as a whole – the President of the Parliament of Montenegro, Mr Ivan Brajović, and representatives of the Association of Montenegrin Managers, Mr Budimir Raičković, the President, Ms Anđela Radosavović, the Executive Director, and Mr Radovan Radulović, the Vice President of the Executive Board, agreed.

An association that brings together hundreds of managers working within companies and as individual entrepreneurs, has set the improvement of leadership and managerial skills of its members as one of the goals, and at the same time has cooperated with related associations of Southeast Europe within the framework of the Podgorica Initiative, being the creator and founder itself.

The meeting dealt with the support of the Parliament of Montenegro to the business community of the state, through the organisation of the session of the Business Parliament among others things, that would bring together the Chamber of Economy, the Union of Employers, the Association of Managers and other related organisations, where current issues of improvement of business environment in Montenegro would be discussed with representatives of the legislative and executive authorities in the country.

Special interest was emphasised for cooperation with several committees of the Parliament of Montenegro, among others with committees on economy, finance and budget, on labour and social welfare, on European integration, etc.

Signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation between the Parliament and the Association of Montenegrin Managers was also agreed, which would set guidelines and a framework for future cooperation.
