President of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr Ivan Brajović spoke with non-resident Ambassador of Georgia H.E. Mr Zaza Kandelaki on further development of cooperation between the two states, based on good political relations.
The meeting discussed the visit by the Speaker of the Georgian Parliament, which will happen in the upcoming months, to confirm that there are many reasons and a basis for strengthening relations at all levels.
Speaking on new members of NATO, President Brajović stressed that Montenegro’s admittance to NATO had sent a strong message that open door policy and transatlantic cooperation remained high on the Alliance agenda for all those who want to share its values and standards.
