President of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr Ivan Brajović today hosted Director and Editor of "Nova knjiga" Mr Predrag Uljarević, who informed him about publishing and other activities of this outlet, including the International Book Fair and award "Literary Flame", co-founded by Mario Vargas Llosa.
President Brajović assessed as significant activities on improving the reading culture, contributed by the publication of prominent titles and the maintenance of the bookstore chain in Montenegrin towns. The President of the Parliament stressed the importance of publishing literary works by contemporary local writers, as well as meetings of audience with world literary giants such as Llosa, Claudio Magris and Orhan Pamuk who recently visited Montenegro.
