President of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr Ivan Brajović wished a happy Easter to the believers and priests who celebrate this holiday according to the Gregorian calendar. Wording of the congratulatory message is as follows:

“After the turbulent times, our country has survived and preserved multi-ethnical and multi-confessional harmony, so it is an example of co-existence in the region and beyond. I am convinced that holidays such as Easter, which call for respect and understanding, will majorly contribute that Montenegro's diversity create an advantage and fortune.

I am convinced that all citizens of Montenegro of all nations and religions will spread traditional values both towards their closest ones and towards others who share the progress and challenges of the 21st century.

In that name, I wish you a happy Easter, a day which calls for love, faith, respect and overcoming of mutual differences”.
