On the occasion of 9 December, Municipality Day of Danilovgrad, President of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr Ivan Brajović extended a congratulatory message to the citizens and the local leadership.

The congratulatory message, among other things, states that Danilovgrad takes the middle position of Montenegro, both geographically and symbolically. In many respects - natural resources, economic potential, and mostly its inhabitants - Danilovgrad represents Montenegro on a small scale. Residents of this area have always been in the centre of historic events, and they have suffered the burden of every Montenegrin turmoil and temptations.

- In the years to come, I am convinced that Danilovgrad will experience accelerated economic and cultural development, strengthened by advantages brought to us by the European integration. Agriculture, processing industry, and tourism are just some of the possibilities of long-term sustainable development. Hardworking people of all generations, talented and educated youth, deserve the opportunity to improve the quality of life of their households and the entire municipality, states the letter of the President of the Montenegrin Parliament.
