President of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr Ivan Brajović wished a happy 22 July - Municipality Day of Šavnik to the citizens of Šavnik and the local officials:

 “For centuries the Drobnjaks have been overcoming many challenges, both libertarian and existential, with their countless sacrifices, but also with courage and wisdom. Today, when we are all privileged to consume and enjoy the benefits of global technological and digital development, the pristine natural beauty and richness of Šavnik and its surrounding area represent an exceptional touristic experience. By putting into operation its rich hydro-energetic, forest and agricultural potential, by creating infrastructural and administrative conditions for domestic and foreign investors, with permanent cooperation of local and state administration, I believe that in the future Šavnik and its surrounding area would be a pleasant place to live and exist.
