President of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr Ivan Brajović has congratulated Municipality Day of Kolašin, marked on 28 August, to the citizens and the local leadership:

“Montenegrin mountains have always been a nursery of towns and people who did not accept the occupying nor creative chains and shackles, but they permanently resisted to it and promoted visions and ideas surpassing the local boundaries, recognised as libertarian and advanced paradigm in Montenegro and beyond. Kolašin takes a special place among these, which, in difficult times for global economy and especially for the domestic one, in transitional and post-transitional period, has tried to make step forward and to keep up the momentum with more developed central and southern regions of Montenegro. Kolašin and its abundant nature are an exquisite source of creative and entrepreneurial potentials of individuals and communities, primarily in the agricultural and tourist field. Bearing this in mind, I am convinced that in the future, people of Kolašin will know how to use and promote the existing, initiated and new projects and possibilities for the benefit of all population.
