President of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr Ivan Brajović hosted new Hungarian Ambassador to Montenegro Mr József Négyesi. During the Ambassador’s inaugural visit, the interlocutors shared pleasure with excellent bilateral relations of the two states, with no open issues, and being developed in the right direction. Mr Brajović emphasised the importance of understanding and support of Hungary with regard to European integration of Montenegro. Aside from NATO membership, Hungary and Montenegro are linked by economic and other issues of interest of the two nations.

The interlocutors stressed the importance of numerous meetings at the highest level, which will be significantly contributed by the forthcoming visit to Montenegro by Speaker of the National Assembly of Hungary Mr László Kövér.
