President of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr Ivan Brajović will take part in the Twelfth Conference of Presidents of the Parliaments of Small European States, which is being held in Liechtenstein, on 20 September. The conference will discuss such topics as sovereignty of small states, specific challenges in political participation, as well as strategies and priorities in international relations. President Brajović will have a presentation on all three topics, and several bilateral meetings with the presidents of other parliaments are scheduled.
The Conference of Presidents of the Parliaments of Small European States gathers presidents of legislative houses of the countries with population of less than a million, as follows: Montenegro, the Principality of Andorra, the Republic of Cyprus, the Republic of Iceland, the Principality of Liechtenstein, the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, the Republic of Malta, the Principality of Monaco and the Republic of San Marino.
