President of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr Ivan Brajović has wished a happy Miners’ Day, celebrated on 24 September, by the message as follows:

“Nature gifted Montenegro not only by natural beauties but also natural resources, including the minerals. The overall industrial development of a country, of Montenegro as well, has always depended on planned and sustainable usage of mineral wealth, and for centuries, miners have created better and more progressive existence and economy for their country and themselves. Today, when Montenegrin economy is recovering from decades of troubles, mining industries and miners are again leaders on this path to better life and better standard of workers and all citizens of Montenegro.

In that name, I wish you a happy Miners’ Day – 24 September.“
