President of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr Ivan Brajović wished a happy Municipality Day of Rožaje to the citizens and the local leadership of Rožaje, marked on 30 September:

“For centuries, the green valley of Ibar and Rožaje have accepted and embraced many peoples, faiths and cultures, gradually building and nurturing the city which for ages has shared the existential destiny of the north of Montenegro and the region, and, despite the challenges, firmly fostered its multi-confessional, multi-ethnic and multi-cultural heritage. I believe that time has come for a more even development of all regions of Montenegro, primarily by improving cooperation between local and state administrations, creating conditions for foreign and domestic investments - and valorisation of all economic, agricultural and tourist potential at the disposal of the north of our country and Rožaje.

With wishes that you fulfil your plans as soon as possible and in the best possible manner, and to turn your ideas and visions into reality, I wish you a happy Municipality Day of Rožaje - 30 September.”
