At the Collegium of the President of Montenegro held today, it was agreed that, by Monday 22 October, the operational body of the Parliament should prepare the Proposal for the Decision on the forming of the temporary parliamentary committee on improving electoral legislation.
After the Collegium members adopt the final version, the Proposal for the Decision would be sent for adoption at the Plenary Session, which will be held at the end of this month.
In line with the previously agreed solutions, the temporary committee would consist of 14 MPs, seven from the ruling and the opposition parties respectively, and the proposals would be adopted mainly by consensus. As announced, experts and NGOs would participate in its work, but without the right to vote.
The Collegium members agree that there is willingness for agreement on all work details, as well as on the manners of application of the adopted solutions.
