President of the Parliament hosts the new Polish Ambassador

- Additional strengthening of economic cooperation is a basic task of Montenegro and Poland, which have excellent political relations, joint NATO and future EU membership - this is a highlight of the meeting between President of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr Ivan Brajović with newly-appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to Montenegro Mr Artur Dmochowski.

They noted that the achieved parliamentary cooperation and the highest level and within friendship groups may significantly contribute to strengthening of ties between the two states.

The Polish Ambassador stressed that Montenegro’s membership in the EU was a joint interest and expressed readiness of his state to share its pre-accession experiences with Montenegrin administration, for the purpose of facilitating and accelerating this road. He expects that, aside from stronger infrastructural connectivity, economic relations of the two countries will be in full swing by Montenegro’s membership of the Union.

President Brajović congratulated 100th anniversary since the renewal of independence and gaining of full state sovereignty that the Republic of Poland is marking this year, and stressed that Montenegro gave a special importance to such jubilees.
