The congratulatory message, inter alia, states that this famous date of our history is a symbol of the liberation of the city, the spirit of freedom and new possibilities. As the message says, this day is a part of anti-fascism tradition which has passed its historic test, and which is, in the same time, an essence of values that our society, as a whole, should nourish.

- I wish to all citizens of Podgorica, so called old inhabitants of Podgorica, convinced Titograd citizens, those who have recently moved to Podgorica, in a word, to all who love this city and consider it as their own, to be active participants and witnesses of the continuous development of Podgorica, its modernisation and its increasing attractiveness for life and work, the congratulatory message of President of the Parliament Mr Ivan Brajović says.
