President of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr Ivan Brajović wished a happy Day of the Old Royal Capital - 13 November to the citizens and local leadership of Cetinje:
“In Montenegrin endurance and survival which were often tested, Cetinje has been a pillar and a arch around and under which the Montenegrin people used to gather, fighting for their elementary freedom and independence. That century-long fight and perseverance, but also its diplomatic wisdom and international cooperation, which put Montenegrin state and identity into the most glorious history books in the world, have always been conceived and developed in Cetinje and today we value them within the Euro-Atlantic and European integration.
I believe that Cetinje, with its priceless spiritual, cultural and historic heritage, represents an exceptional touristic and industrial challenge for domestic and foreign tourists and investors, which requires an even better and more intensive cooperation between the state and local administration, in order for the Old Royal Capital to ensure and take up its rightful place in the existential, industrial, and touristic map of our country and beyond.
In that name, I wish you a happy Day of the Old Royal Capital of Cetinje - 13 November.“
