President of the Parliament of Montenegro, Mr Ivan Brajović, sent letters of condolence to Mr Mike Pence, President of the Senate and Mr Paul D. Ryan, Speaker of the House of Representatives of the United States of America, on the death of the American president, George H. W. Bush:
"President George H.W. Bush will be remembered as a patriot who, firmly believing in noble ideals of democracy, faithfully served his state and nation throughout his working life. The United States of America can be proud of its 41st President and his decisive actions as a statesman in the time of dramatic changes in the world. Europe will particularly remember his commitment to Euro-Atlantic partnership", the letter of condolence of the President of the Parliament encloses.
