President of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr Ivan Brajović congratulated the citizens and the local leadership Municipality Day of Danilovgrad, marked on 9 December. The congratulatory message, among other things, says:

“The libertarian spirit of Bjelopavlići, tempered on numerous execution sites, persevered many scourges and has built its peace and serenity through centuries, feeding but also inspiring itself and others that freedom, one’s own town and one’s own land have no price.

Today, far away from the challenges of the past, before the dilemmas and choices of the future, turned to their own industrial and agricultural potential which is abundant in the Bjelopavlići plain, Danilovgrad and its citizens are using their exceptional geographical position and natural resources and are becoming a safe place for the development of small and medium enterprises, the strengthening of private farmlands, religious tourism, as well as economy as a whole, which - and this is the most important of all - makes Danilovgrad a good place to live and exist for all its citizens.
