President of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr Ivan Brajović has been invited to address members of the Macedonian Assembly, as the first foreign official after the adoption of constitutional changes in this state.

Ceremonious sitting of the Assembly, in the presence of diplomatic corps, will be held in Skopje, on Wednesday, 23 January, in honour of the President of the Parliament of Montenegro.

During his visit to the Republic of Macedonia, President Brajović will meet his Macedonian counterpart Mr Talat Xhaferi as well as other officials of the Republic of Macedonia.

The meetings will provide an opportunity for strengthening bilateral cooperation between Montenegro and Macedonia, and regional stability following the constitutional changes in Macedonia, which have additionally opened Euro-Atlantic and European perspective of this country.
