Statement by President of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr Ivan Brajović with regard to the media allegations of Mr Duško Knežević:

“Ever since 2013, I have no debts at all to Atlas bank. On 24 January, I responded to interests of journalists by saying that I have settled card debts by selling a part of inherited land. There is a documentation with all relevant bodies to whom I reported this transaction in a timely manner. I sold my plot of land to the interested legal entity, and a notarial act was made about that. I possess valid documentation thereof.

Concerning deposits of Aerodromi Crne Gore, I would like to refer you to JSC Aerodromi Crne Gore company, having the jurisdiction to adopt such decisions.

I refuse to be involved in the alleged spectacular financial malversation, and also to defend and interpret regular settlement of my obligations.“
