President of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr Ivan Brajović today has received the Ambassador of the Slovak Republic Mr Roman Hloben, who presented the programme and priorities of the Slovak 2019 OSCE Chairmanship.
President of the Parliament pointed out the significance of strengthening the effectiveness of multilateralism, as well as respecting commonly accepted norms and principles for successful overcoming of challenges faced by the OSCE region.
The Slovak Ambassador emphasised that their goals are best sublimated by the Chairmanship slogan “For people, dialogue and stability” during which numerous activities were planned, which will be implemented by the Embassy of the Slovak Republic in cooperation with the OSCE Mission to Montenegro.
Estimating that the two countries have been continuously developing friendly relations, the interlocutors exchanged opinions on the current developments in Montenegro and the Western Balkans region. In the context of further strengthening of parliamentary cooperation, Ambassador Hloben reiterated to Mr Brajović the invitation by the Speaker of the National Council Mr Andrej Danko to visit the Slovak Republic.
