President of the Parliament hosts the new Bulgarian Ambassador

President of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr Ivan Brajović today has hosted new Ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria Ms Meglena Plougtchieva-Aleksandrova, emphasising that the Ambassador was coming from the country with whom Montenegro had excellent bilateral relations, with intensive parliamentary cooperation.

The Bulgarian Ambassador stressed that, as a representative of her country, she wanted to provide support and contribute to further successes of Montenegro, since the success of our country was also a success of the region. Recalling her rich parliamentary experience, Ambassador Aleksandrova stressed that the Parliament represented the key body and structure of a state and expressed the expectation that its role would be even more significant in the future. The Ambassador also announced that representatives of Bulgarian Parliament would take part in the upcoming Conference of young parliamentarians from the WB and EU, to be organised by the Parliament of Montenegro.   

The meeting discussed the strengthening of economic cooperation, particularly in the field of energy, sustainable technology and joint tourist offer.
