President of the Parliament speaks with the Kazakhstan Ambassador

President of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr Ivan Brajović today has talked with non-residential Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Montenegro Mr Tolezhan Barlybayev who handed him an invitation letter by President of the Kazakhstan House of Representatives Mr Nurlan Nigmatulin to participate in the IV meeting of speakers of Euro-Asian countries.

- Montenegro and the Republic of Kazakhstan, even though two geographically distant countries, have no obstacles for cooperation and they should continuously strengthen inter-state ties particularly in the economic area, Mr Brajović stressed.

The Kazakhstan Ambassador stressed that Montenegro, given its future membership of the EU, was an important and perspective partner, with whom Kazakhstan was ready to work on strengthening cooperation in all fields. In this context, the Ambassador reminded that the EU was the most important foreign and trade partner of his country.

During the conversation, the interlocutors shared opinions on the current developments in the Western Balkan region.
