President of the Parliament with Ambassador of Poland on strengthening excellent cooperation of the two states

President of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr Ivan Brajović today received Ms Irena Tatarzynska, Ambassador of Poland to Montenegro. The President of the Montenegrin Parliament expressed satisfaction with the excellent relations of Montenegro and Poland at political level, obvious interest of this country to invest in Montenegro as well as dynamic cooperation in the fields of culture, science and education.

- I thanked to the Polish Ambassador for the excellent knowledge of the situation in Montenegro and objective view of our socio-political reality. Such approach is, among other things, the reason why the relations between Montenegro and Poland are progressing constantly, Mr Brajović said.

The President of the Montenegrin Parliament expressed satisfaction with the assessment by Ambassador Tatarzynska, who communicated the positions of the Polish observers within the OSCE mission that to the October elections were legitimate and transparent, and their results indisputable.

They interlocutors also talked about the continuation of cooperation in the framework of the "Enlargement Academy", where Poland shares with Montenegro its experience of integration processes.

The meeting also discussed the future activities aimed at strengthening parliamentary cooperation. President Brajović accepted the invitation by Marshal of the Senate of the Republic of Poland Mr Stanisław Karczewski and Marshal
of the Sejm Mr Marek Kuchciński to participate in the Meeting of Parliament Speakers of Central and Eastern Europe which will be organised in Warsaw this year.
