We are glad that NATO, after Montenegro’s reception, has continued an open door policy and showed that all those who share the Alliance’s values can be its partners. I am particularly happy with the fact that Montenegro, for the first time from its accession, had an opportunity to give its contribution to strengthening stability of our region by ratifying North Macedonia Accession Protocol for NATO. I believe that North Macedonia will soon open negotiations with the EU and thus intensify the work on its European future - President Brajović said.
