They noted that Montenegro and Croatia continuously work on development of good neighbourly relations, and closely cooperate on all issues of mutual interest.
President Brajović thanked for the support which Croatia has been providing to Montenegro's membership of NATO and European Union, both in political context and by providing expert help, sharing of knowledge and experiences.
- We have noted that the fact that our country is in advanced stage of the European integration is important for Montenegro and the whole region, and we particularly emphasised the importance of vitality of open door policy, President of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr Ivan Brajović said.
Ambassador Grubišić expressed expectation that at the forthcoming NATO summit in Brussels, Croatia will be able to greet Montenegro, not only as a neighbour, but as an equal member of the Alliance.
