President of the Parliament of Montenegro, Mr Ivan Brajović, extended a congratulatory message on the occasion of 4 August, Municipality Day of Petnjica, to its citizens and local government:

"By restoring the status of Petnjica as an independent municipality, the state demonstrated responsibility and sensitivity for the needs of the inhabitants of Upper Bihor. With the forthcoming work on balanced regional development, with the engagement of local government and the support of the always loyal diaspora, Petnjica will have increasing opportunities to fulfil its economic potential.
